The word is, the Nevada Tea Party has qualified as a third party and will field their own candidate against Harry Reid (D). Here’s link to the story:

A later story indicates that this is truly a sham and that the person running is actually a friend of Harry Reid. Rush's comment was to wonder if this is the new Dem.strategy to win elections. i.e. run a phony candidate and cause a split in the conservative vote. I beleve there was a similar hoax in Florida. I know that TP voters are too smart to fall for these tricks and when they do we need to get the word out quickly to the general voting public.

The net result is that the candidate is an unknown and all of the key people in the "Tea Party" registered with the Nevada SOS office are unknown to anyone in any of the Tea Parties in Nevada.
The willing accomplices in the media will do everything they can to prop up candidates like this when they believe they can get away with it. We must stop them from being able to pull the wool over the eyes of the ill-informed.
