Posted by: | CommentsNo comment I could make would be as funny as this video of insightful thought from attendees at the Steware-Colbert Rally To Restore Sanity. You are welcome to give it a shot if you want…
I don’t want to be accused of fear-mongering, but some of these people may be future leaders.
Scared yet?
I Saw America Today

Editor’s Note: The following piece was written by Rod Smith a Patriot Guard Rider. It arrived in my inbox this morning as an email and it deserves a bigger audience. It was written about the funeral of Sgt. Eric Newman held on Saturday, October 24, 2010. The funeral was held with full military honors, including a 21-gun salute. He was posthumously awarded not only the bronze star, but also the Purple Heart and several other medals for his exemplary service in the U.S. Army. Eric Newman, 30, was killed when a roadside bomb exploded Oct. 14 in Akatzai Kalay, Afghanistan. He married Charidy Newman last year, and was planning to become a state trooper after his career in the military was over. The introductory information I’ve included here came from the story about the funeral published by The Meridian Star.
I saw America today.
I was among more that 200 people gathered on the tarmac at the Meridian Air Navel Station to welcome Sgt. Eric C. Newman, 30, of Waynesboro , Miss. home from Afghanistan.
He did not exit to cheers and hugs but was greeted by respectful silence. Military men and women, bikers, policemen, firemen, all in formation riveted their attention as Sgt. Newman disembarked from the plane carrying him.
He exited in a flag draped coffin, killed in action in Afghanistan.
Call Me Senator – From David Zucker
Posted by: | CommentsH/T: DailyCaller
Director David Zucker writes and produces the hilarious but sad tale of Barbara Boxers disrespect of our Military. In the wonderful style of his great movies Airplane, Naked Gun, Naked Gun 2.5, Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4, An American Carol, David hits to the core of Senator Boxers famous hearing.

Jim Staats: Take Back America
Posted by: | CommentsBlue collar construction worker and veteran Jim Staats to patriots: “Take Back America” from politicians who are selling out our country.
“This is not just a song. it is a movement whose time has come. Help us take back the future for our children and grandchildren” — Jim Staats

Open Thread: Time For A Musical Break…
Posted by: | CommentsI don’t know if this song has any direct bearing on the upcoming elections or not. I’ll let you decide that for yourself and you are welcome to fight it out in the comments.
What I can tell you is that I love this song and this re-cut video is awesome. Just take a few minutes away from the blogs and the media spin cycle and enjoy one of the coolest bands playing one of the coolest songs.

Soros: I Can’t Stop a Republican ‘Avalanche’
Posted by: | CommentsI’m sorry, but I just can’t quit laughing.
Anyone who has visited this website before probably knows my feelings about George Soros. While I’ve stopped short of calling him Satan or Evil Incarnate, I’ve thought it once or twice before. At a minimum, I’ve believed for a long time that George Soros places his own interests far above the interests of anyone else or any Country, especially, the United States.
So, imagine my delight to run across the following headline: “Soros: I Can’t Stop A Republican ‘Avalanche’“.
In fact, I found it quite funny on several different levels.
Obama Leaves ‘Creator’ Out of Declaration Quote

I don’t know why this surprises me.
I guess I expect the President of The United States to understand the importance of each and every word of The Declaration of Independence AND The Constitution. Apparently, neither one is on his reading list.
Just a suggestion, maybe if he skipped a round of golf every now and then, he’d have enough time to brush up on the documents that founded our Country. It may not improve his golf game, but it might improve his leadership.
