What is TeaPartyConnect.com?

Over time, it became increasingly clear there needed to be a place for people to either connect with a Tea Party near them, or learn how to start their own.

Additionally, leaders of Tea Party groups needed a place to share news & ideas, muster national support, or just network with other Tea Party groups.

TeaPartyConnect was created to address those needs!

Why TeaPartyConnect.com?

Facebook BlitzSo far, 250+ people have “liked” TeaPartyConnect.com; however, to be truly effective for the November 2 Election, we need to increase the number of people receiving our messages significantly between now and then. To do that, we’ll be having several Facebook Blitzs to invite other Facebook users to “like” TeaPartyConnect.com.

The first goal is 500 and we need everyone’s help to invite at least one (1) new Facebook member to like us.  (Personally, I prefer “fan” but that’s just me!)

TeaPartyConnect.com has been providing great material for Tea Party for six months now and if you’ve enjoyed our work, please suggest us to your friends!

From The Associated Press:

CHICAGO – Emergency rooms, the only choice for patients who can’t find care elsewhere, may grow even more crowded with longer wait times under the nation’s new health law.

That might come as a surprise to those who thought getting 32 million more people covered by health insurance would ease ER crowding. It would seem these patients would be able to get routine health care by visiting a doctor’s office, as most of the insured do.

But it’s not that simple. Consider:

_There’s already a shortage of front-line family physicians in some places and experts think that will get worse.

_People without insurance aren’t the ones filling up the nation’s emergency rooms. Far from it. The uninsured are no more likely to use ERs than people with private insurance, perhaps because they’re wary of huge bills.

_The biggest users of emergency rooms by far are Medicaid recipients. And the new health insurance law will increase their ranks by about 16 million. Medicaid is the state and federal program for low-income families and the disabled. And many family doctors limit the number of Medicaid patients they take because of low government reimbursements.

_ERs are already crowded and hospitals are just now finding solutions.

Uhmmmm, we told you what would happen last year before the idiots in Congress passed this monster, so how is this news?

On July 12, 2009, Steven Crowder of PJTV went undercover in Canada to check out their single-payer system of healthcare for himself. The video should have been on every television station in America, but it wasn’t and Obamacare was passed. Now the Associated Press files a story confirming on of the key points that Conservatives and Tea Party groups were pointing out long before the bill became law. Ain’t that just ducky!?

MeridianTeaParty.com has published a list of the 219 Representatives who voted Yes on the Senate Health Care Bill.  Their list is different from many of the others you may have seen since they are trying to compile links to every conservative opponent running against these “Representatives”.

They have requested help from Tea Party/9-12/Conservatives who live in the districts that currently do not have an opponent listed to please send them an email and let them know about the best candidates. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

On December 26, 2009, Kathleen Baker writing for the Denver Conservative Examiner noted:

…online activists are chattering about two more special elections, one in Florida and the other in Massachusetts. Whether or not this online dialogue will bring about the same type of attention as the NY-23 race is too early to be determined. However, it does deserve some consideration.

I have to give her credit, her sources must have been better than mine, because at the time, I was monitoring some of the most popular conservative blogs and while almost all of them picked up the Scott Brown race in Massachusetts, to my knowledge, none of them said anything about the Florida race in District 19. I was introduced to the candidacy of Allen West in District 22, but nothing about Edward Lynch in District 19. Read More→
