What is TeaPartyConnect.com?

Over time, it became increasingly clear there needed to be a place for people to either connect with a Tea Party near them, or learn how to start their own.

Additionally, leaders of Tea Party groups needed a place to share news & ideas, muster national support, or just network with other Tea Party groups.

TeaPartyConnect was created to address those needs!

Why TeaPartyConnect.com?

Script:
In a country, headed toward socialism, where the elitist few ran the government and did not govern for the people, but against them…

In a climate of arrogant words, never before seen flippant attitudes, photo ops, fake news stories, and continued out of control rhetoric…

I don’t want to be accused of fear-mongering, but some of these people may be future leaders.

Scared yet?

Director David Zucker writes and produces the hilarious but sad tale of Barbara Boxers disrespect of our Military. In the wonderful style of his great movies Airplane, Naked Gun, Naked Gun 2.5, Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4, An American Carol, David hits to the core of Senator Boxers famous hearing.

As Larry the Cable Guy would say: “Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are.”

Larry would probably also follow this by saying, “Lord, forgive me for that and bless the pygmies down there in New Guinea.”

Sorry, I couldn’t resist posting this or the Larry the Cable Guy references.

A Sweet Song:

Dr. Hook & The Medicine ShowDr. Hook & The Medicine Show just wanted their picture on the cover of The Rolling Stone.

Perhaps, that was not such a noble goal, but here’s a goal that is noble: TeaPartyConnect.com doesn’t want anyone to make the cover of TeaPartyTracker.org. In fact, I don’t even want anyone to visit TeaPartyTracker.org. So much so, that I’ve been debating whether to post a link to them.

Backstory: Todd Starnes reported:

A Tennessee middle school football coach said he got fired after he wrote a song that criticized President Obama.

Bryan Glover, an assistant coach at Grassland Middle School near Nashville, co-wrote the country music song, “When You’re Holding a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail.”

It was co-written by a parent who has a child on the team. Glover, 26, said he emailed a copy of the song to friends, family members and player’s parents through his personal email account.

And that’s when all the trouble started for the self-described independent conservative.

Facebook BlitzSo far, 250+ people have “liked” TeaPartyConnect.com; however, to be truly effective for the November 2 Election, we need to increase the number of people receiving our messages significantly between now and then. To do that, we’ll be having several Facebook Blitzs to invite other Facebook users to “like” TeaPartyConnect.com.

The first goal is 500 and we need everyone’s help to invite at least one (1) new Facebook member to like us.  (Personally, I prefer “fan” but that’s just me!)

TeaPartyConnect.com has been providing great material for Tea Party for six months now and if you’ve enjoyed our work, please suggest us to your friends!

I just got to see a commercial by Labor Sec. Hilda L. Solis where she states the unbelievable!

I thought when I saw the commerical on YouTube that it was from some local television station that had been captured and posted. A little bit of digging later and I found that this is not just a local or regional effort, but instead is part of a full-on marketing push by the Department of Labor which began April 1, 2010. Is it possible this is an April Fool’s Joke on America?

For those who once voted for Barack Obama, it’s not too late to change the path you are on.

We in the Tea Party movement understand how someone could be sold a bill of goods by someone slicker than Slick Willie (aka Bill Clinton). We get that he sounded believable and we get that you really did want to believe in the hope and change Obama told you he could deliver.

It’s a lot like those toys at the bottom of cereal boxes, they look a lot better in the picture on the box than they do when you finally get your hands on them. Or what about those gumball machines full of the plastic bubbles with great prizes inside, or at least there are great prizes in the bubbles on top. (In my experience, there were always crappy prizes at the bottom where the feed mechanism was located.) Today’s kids get to play the crane game which is even worse than gumball machines because more often than not, you end up with nothing at all.

We get the fact that if you voted for Obama, you probably feel a lot like the kid who just put a dollar into a crane game and didn’t get the fuzzy dog, the pocket knife or even the lollipop. You probably feel like you just got screwed.

This is soooo cool!

I swear I would vote for Chris Christie for President today if I had the chance, solely on the basis of this and today’s video tidbit.

On Tuesday, May 25th, 2010, Governor Chris Christie was confronted during the Q&A session of a town hall meeting originally called to discuss a proposed constitutional amendment to cap rises in property tax. One, Rita Wilson, a teacher, stood to state the same old union line that “teachers are not paid enough.” She cited the “fact” that someone told her she should be making $3 per student per hour which in her words would be “$83,000 per year” but that she was not making anywhere near that amount. Christie responded in his own wonderful style.

I could describe it, but here’s the video:

I think I’ve seen this comparison before, but it arrived in my inbox from one of our contributors, James Simpson and it made me laugh so I thought I’d share it with you as well.

Which Side Of The Fence Are You On?

If a conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a liberal doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a conservative is down-and-out,  he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it’s a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

I’d like to add one of my own:

If a conservative group protests, they wave the American Flag.
A liberal group burns it.

Who Created TeaPartyConnect.com?
